Alex Hanczarski. A H Fabricati
I am running 2 isolation transformers. 1 is 4000VA for my ATC SCM50A`s, and the other one is 2000VA which will run the source components. It means that when I switch it on, there are 2 inrush limiters turning on 2 transformers from one switch, so I was a bit worried that it may be too much for one switch. When I tried it tonight it worked perfectly and I can control the 2 isolation transformers from one switch with no hint of the limiters struggling to start them. So buy this limiter with confidence, it works perfectly in my set up.

Please, note that this will not work with lower power voltage e.g. 115 VAC. The relay activation current is on the limit and in my device the inrush current limiter did not work. This lead to overheating of the power resistors (which provided the initial current to the transformer) and then the cutoff of the thermal fuse (which required replacing). However, there is an easy fix by adding a parallel power resistor to the 10 kohm power resistor (providing the relay activation current) which increased the relay activation current sufficiently. Good value would e.g. 33 kohm/5W power resistor. If one uses this device with 220-240 VAC input voltage there is no problem with the original design, of course. Other than the above the device worked as expected. Proper specification would be useful for the prospective buyers, however.
